This UV light eliminates contaminants in water as they pass through the VH200 Viqua Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System. This lamp has a longevity of 12 months. With the protective quartz sleeve surrounding it the lamp only requiring a cleaning maintenance every 3 months, keeping your replacement bulb fully functional requires little maintenance. The S200RL Viqua Replacement UV Lamp reduces the levels of bacteria and viruses that can make it past other filter media, giving you ultra clean water. The UV light kills and disables the DNA of the bacteria and viruses to remove their ability to multiple and replicate. This system works well in whole home solutions that provide pre-filtration to remove larger particles and contaminants. Coupling this system with pre-filters will help extend the life of the quartz sleeve and allow for longer breaks without cleaning the sleeve. Let Tier1 protect every drop.
