The RO-QC4-RORM Tier1 Quick Change Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Replacement Membrane is a TDS reducing RO membrane replacement for the Tier1 RO-QC-450, QCRO, and QCUF Reverse Osmosis Systems. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total weight of all solids (minerals, salts, metals) that are dissolved in a given volume of water. The lower the TDS level in the water, the more efficiently your body's cells can use the water. Not only can TDS be unappealing visually and to taste but it can also pose danger to appliances and pipes as well as expose your body to more health risks. Instructions
- Life old cartridge toward you
- Rotate old cartridge counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull it out
- Insert new cartridge into the filter head and rotate clockwise 1/4 turn
- Return cartridge to vertical position
- Check for leaks. If leads occur, repeat steps 1-4. If leakage persists discontinue use and call technical support
- Flush filter for 5 minutes before use
- Empty tank prior to first use
