Instructions
- For use with WATER in accessible locations ONLY.
- Cut tube or pipe square; remove all burrs and sharp edges as these can damage the internal o-ring.
- Push fitting onto the pipe up to the tube stop.
- Pull on the fitting to check that it is secure.
- Check that the rubber washer is installed in the FIP nut of the connector. Bend connector slowly into approximate shape to join water supply to the inlet nipple of the water heater or other appliance and secure snugly. (Caution: do not over-tighten FIP nut or bend tube excessively). Repeat this process for the outlet side of the heater or appliance.
- Turn on the water supply and check connections for leaks.
- To disconnect, ensure that the system is depressurized, and push the white plastic collet square against the fitting. With two fingers pull back on the collet to remove.
